Entertainment on the move was never to be the same thanks to the Neo Geo Pocket colour from SNK. It's was the world's first mass market colour 16bit portable video games-playing device with a record-breaking range of launch software. This machine was a massive improvement over the older Black & White machine released years before.

From June 2000 though the Neo Geo pocket was withdrawn from Europe and the U.S.A. This machine was never going to compete with the mighty Nintendo GameBoy especially in the States, although in Japan production did carry on for sometime. We continue to stock the machine & software. 

With an unprecedented 40 hours of continuous playing time, this was no toy for the time. Ergonomically designed to sit comfortably and play brilliantly, the Neo Geo Pocket Colour was available in one of six stylish cases ensuring it'll look good no matter what you're wearing !

Neo Geo Pocket Colour can display up to 146 colours on screen from a palette of 4096. It had the largest portable screen on the market at that time with a resolution to match. It was also the only handheld at the time to boast a proper joystick instead of a fiddly control pad.

Even though the Neo Geo Pocket Colour is now no longer in production, it's software line-up is already enviable, with 14 titles at its launch - a record for any previous gaming system. These titles span all genres - sports, arcade, casino, puzzles, role playing and beat-'em-up - offering something for everyone, irrespective of their gaming penchant.
